Appellate Counsel, PC’s Washington office is led by Kelly Cotting, who is licensed to practice law in the State of Washington. Our Washington appellate team represents clients before the Washington Court of Appeals, the Washington Supreme Court, and federal appellate courts including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit (where admitted).

We handle civil, family, and criminal appeals as well as post-conviction and habeas matters. We also consult with trial counsel to ensure appellate issues are preserved in the record, protecting clients’ rights should an appeal become necessary.

Our firm is dedicated exclusively to appellate advocacy, with a focus on delivering clear, persuasive written briefs and effective oral argument before Washington’s state and federal courts.
