

Kayla Molina is an Oklahoma-based appellate attorney whose practice focuses on complex legal research, persuasive writing, and post-trial advocacy in civil and criminal appeals. She represents clients and trial counsel from notice of appeal through final disposition. Before joining Appellate Counsel, Kayla served as an Assistant Attorney General with the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office, where she oversaw prison litigation and handled constitutional and civil rights matters from the trial courts up through appeal. She has practiced before the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and regularly appears before the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals. Kayla also holds a master’s degree in history, which informs her analytical approach and ability to frame issues as narrative.
