Joshua M. Erspamer is an appellate and post-trial litigator with more than a decade of litigation experience, focused on issue preservation, record strategy, and concise briefing before state and federal appellate courts. He is licensed in Minnesota and Pennsylvania, with admissions in several federal appellate courts. Joshua joined J.D. Haas & Associates in 2016 immediately after admission to the bar and was elevated to Partner in 2024; his underlying litigation work centers on catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, and complex liability — experience that grounds his appellate practice in the realities of the trial record. He earned his J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law (2016) and a B.S. in History from the University of Minnesota (2011), and served on the editorial staff of the Law Raza Journal of Race and the Law in 2013. His scholarship includes a 2018 article in the Mitchell Hamline Law Review (Sua Sponte), “If Life Does Not Do So, the Universal Fellowship of Death Should Bring Humility.”
